Greensboro, NC quartet Tiger Bear Wolf have dropped a dynamic new single from their upcoming self-titled album (July 17). “Silver Heart” is solid guitar work-oriented alternative rock, drawing influences from post-hardcore, post-punk and garage rock. The windy riff polyphony moves towards ecstatic swirls and then shifts to a bluesy speed reduction before returning with a proto-punk/classic rock drive. Over the brisk rhythm section, the singing, delivered in a laconic form, further highlights the powerful guitar outpouring.
