London-based Australian composer/flutist Erica Tucceri shared her ornate new composition. “Hey, Bear!” is a breathable, jazzy-prog-y take with a mysterious, lively and warm atmosphere of nature. At first, the cosmic synth landscapes and tribal hypnotism weave lush, twisting grooves. But then the music shifts from a dynamic state to deep, relaxing insights with Tucceri’s gentle vocal background and a dreamy flute outpouring, overall delightfully echoing the spiritual sonic canons of Pharoah Sanders, Alice Coltrane, The Pyramids, etc.
