Swedish collective Wolfschmidt returns with an emotional new single from their upcoming LP “INSUFFICIENT FAILURE.” “whaler” has that original approach of the ‘90s ethereal alternative scene - melodious, languid and barbed. With noisy yet cottony guitar walls and lingering rhythms, the band paints a submerging and piercing atmosphere. At the same time, the vocal part brings the necessary floatiness, as if embodying a tired, obscured angelic figure.
