Swedish artist Julia Logan shares an atmospheric cover of the classic 1975 Zamrock hit by the band Amanaz. Logan’s vision of “Khala My Friend” takes on a wistful ballad form, full of cozy analog warmth with a laid-back approach, as well as a film score-like psychedelic soul inclination. The rhythm section maintains an elastic groove, complimenting the iridescent guitar picking and dusty, textural keyboard. The cottony singing perfectly conveys the laconic lyrics, allowing your inner images to be released and ascend to the sky.
