mel denisse, a Nashville-based artist, unveils an immersive new track from her upcoming debut EP. “aiming alone” is a washed-out, floaty downtempo piece. Over the tight drum groove, the guitars and keys interweave and layer, forming a soft and inviting ambient dusk. denisse's singing sounds enchanting, deep and measured, with throwback, grungy era echoes. She explains that the lyrical part “is built around feeling like there's a glass wall between you and everybody else and although they can see you, no one seems to truly feel or understand you.”
