London-based producer/sound engineer/film composer Brett Shaw aka 123 Mixtape dropped his fascinating new single. “Rue Du Dragon” is vintaged music library funk with a stylish Eurospy cinema tinge. Over the restless rhythms, Shaw layers suspenseful keyboards, whirling bursts of strings, chopping guitar, and spacey psychedelic fx. This music feels quite lively, interestingly structured, and is anchored by excellent dynamics.
