Kansas City hip-hop artist Sir Adams shared a dynamic new single featuring a verse from Topeka-based rapper Stik Figa. Starting with an evaporating synth interlude, “Knockin'” then proceeds with a minimalist, ambient tube loop and wobbling percussive beat in the vein of early The Clipse. Sir Adams delivers his flow with energetic dexterity, whereas Stik Figa contrasts with a more chill manner. The track is also equipped with a gluey chorus hook.
