Provo, UT-based singer-songwriter Mindy Gledhill presented her emotional new single. “Livin’ The Dream” is measured, bittersweet Americana/folk. This textural and warm-sounding song is filled with bucolic guitar strumming, floaty strings, and mellow percussion. But the center of gravity here is Gledhill's pensive, philosophical, deeply touching vocal performance. “The song is about how often artists and other creatives deliver art from the depths of their souls only to be drown out by the ocean of other voices in a goldfish-attention economy. When it's hard to feel seen, what actually matters?” the musician says.
