Boston-based artist Kelsey Blackstone unveils her driving new banger. “See You Never” is a brisk, confident rocker with a vintage, garage-bluesy, tube sound and loud charisma. The crispy guitar riffs, dusty yet juicy organ, and hitting rhythm section build a good dynamic pressure. Blackstone's slightly distorted vocal gives the tune an epic feel with an original punk-ish taste. The lyrics convey “the necessary anger, confidence, & courage to leave a bad friend behind,” she explains.
