EERA - Honey, do you see me

Grotesqualizer

Berlin-based Norwegian artist Anna Lena Bruland aka EERA shared an intriguing single from her upcoming third LP “I’ll stop when I’m done.” Seasoned with a ‘90s dream pop touch, “Honey, do you see me?” has a lush, organic and heavenly-floaty sound. Over the cottony guitars, pearly synths and steady rhythm, EERA layers her languid singing in a hypnotizing way. “The desperation of trying to be loved by someone who really doesn’t want to be with you takes over your self-worth,” she says of the sentiment behind the lyrics, inspired by the 1960s movie “The Apartment.”
