Jaunty impulses of neo-jazz fusion/jazz rock with a prog touch flow from the track. The convoluted, pulsing rhythm section develops with heavy swinging, funky breakbeats and hip-hop urbanism. Casey's saxophone melodies are, on the one hand, full of sentimental bop passion, on the other - expressively wriggling and playful, and at some point give way to viscous guitar phrases.
