On “Triptrap,” you constantly feel how the musicians devote themselves to every millisecond of their music, broadcasting an incredible vision. Math, jazz, prog, post, funk - everything is cleverly and technically mixed for endless surprises. Big Space know how to beautifully contrast, they develop and stop one musical idea, leaving its mischievous trail in the next one and getting an intriguing result. There is a place for groove and an epic feel in the guitar work, you can hear both bluesy psych intensity and warm improvisational nostalgia that soothes the soul.
