On “Vandringssang,” folk-ish psychedelia with a sprinkle of neo-krautrock sounds like the music of a wonderful forest feast. From the very beginning the rhythm section and vargan tones form a confident and hypnotic dance. The melody moves from the verses with double vocals to the guitar riff that sounds like a charming mirage, and comes back again. The lyrics tell about an important journey and discovery. Urtidsdjur recorded the song in a chapel in the countryside to create this atmospheric sound. “Vandringssang” attracts mainly with its modesty, but at the same time it gives only the very best and essential.
