Witchpit - Infernal

In this decade, new rock bands actively keep on following the tradition of being inspired by some original sources from the '70s/'80s. So things are mixing up and reinforcing a retro-oriented culture composed of smoking marijuana, occultism, vintage fantasy and exploitation movies. Now, when music, including heavy genres, becomes a cancan of the 21st century, this scene looks interesting and appealing.

One of these acts is South Carolina band Witchpit, and their first single “Infernal” is Harley Big Muff Stoner Rock ’n’ Roll. It sounds like a sweetly torturing whip that immediately hypnotizes you with its power. As if Fu Manchu had removed everything redundant from Thrash Metal, and Dennis Wheatley had taken potion in Stonehenge and sketched the lyrics. Witchpit has everything is needed - intelligible riffs, burning and bending. Psilocybin music video dose is attached.
