Twist Helix - Ove Arup

Read full review & listen on Grotesqualizer.

The band Twist Helix released their album “Ouseburn” on October 5, and it’s one special work that deserves all the attention. The single “Graphite” appeared in Grotesqualizer’s very first Friday Gold Playlist, and we’re happy to share more music by this interesting band.

“Ove Arup,” a striking song from the album, has it all - delightful racing melodies, the incredibly catchy chorus, the unpolished charm of the '80s and even an apocalyptic touch. This song will pass you through the tunnels of the past, the future and the unbelievable. And whilst the impressive vocals are fresh and wild, The Cranberries-like, the atmosphere and delivery of the whole track reminds Siouxsie and the Banshees - with the dark undertones, but overall lively, inspiring music. But in spite of that, Twist Helix clearly has their own distinctive style and new vision to music creation, the result of it - songs like “Ove Arup” that will wake you up and boost your energy in a moment.
