US outfit Strawberry Poison debuted with their self-titled EP, listen to this intriguing track off of it. JUMP UP (FOR MAZZY) has that distinctive, groovy indie vibe, as if Interpol covered Taking Heads. The tight, funky rhythm section builds a steady foundation for the guitar and synth palette. The vocalist’s slightly suspenseful vocals tell a surreal story about an irresistible mystical figure.
