US artist Jackson Turnbull shared a new single about heartbreak. Echoes delivers atmospheric and cinematic pop in the vein of early 21 Pilots. The voluminous, dreamy layers of synths/strings are accompanied by a tight, reverberant drum beat. Vocally, Turnbull shifts from a soulful manner to a dramatic falsetto, fully immersing the listener in the song’s emotion.
