Denmark-hailing three-piece Bending Backwards unveiled the intense opener of their upcoming album, still and quiet, brother, are you still and quiet (October 16th). Bend You Out Of Shape is a bustling, dynamic, and emotional alternative rock track. The rough-textured, squally guitars, along with the jungly-funky breaks and percussion, come together into a resonant and groovy mechanism. At the same time, Frederik Blaesild Vuust’s vocals add variety to the overall dynamic with his deep baritone smoothness and lyrical poignancy. The song is about “careless, playful and bad-mouthing tween thrill seekers - a love letter to the undeserving but endearing,” the band says.
