Los Angeles-based artist Brittany Campbell dropped a banging new mixture of r&b and hip-hop. Reminiscent of Timbaland/The Neptunes’ production heyday, CP Time has that infectious, deeply percussive, minimalist bounce, also in the vein of Missy Elliott and Kelis. On top of that, Campbell balances between mellow vocal passages and strong flow expression, showcasing her charismatic delivery.
