NYC-based composer and producer Emiliano Melis unveiled the immersive first single from his upcoming LP. “Private Heat” delivers enigmatic, ambient-y downtempo, reminding of ‘90s/‘00s trippy chillout projects a la Orb, Carbon Based Lifeforms, Woob, etc. The synth layers and fx create a pretty hypnotizing, watery sound with some neo-noir detective overtones, powered with a dub-leaning beat. Although the music is presented in a very gentle form, it has the qualities of the deepest dream trip, with its alluring aftertaste.
