Sweden-hailing project Transmission Stills shared a flowing, laid-back new take. “Free” is The Velvet Underground-esque, slowly drifting garage pop psychedelia. The music immerses your ears in calming guitar vibrations, as if taken from a colorful ocean floor-scape, accompanied by the gauzy, sustained organ and bubble wrap-like drum kit. The soft, breathy vocal delivery sounds almost tangible and at the same time de-stressing.
