Los Angeles outfit Devlin And The Harm, led by Devlin McCluskey (The Dead Ships), announced the release of their self-titled album on May 22, hear its cinematic second single. “Kingdom Comes” is a wide-sounding, decadent Americana-esque track with a charming echo of ‘60s baroque pop. The noir-western guitars move over the sonorous tambourine to interweave with the immersive landscapes of the strings and wind section. McCluskey delivers the vocal with an almost Nick Cave-ish, pensive and wary fatigue, expressing the feeling of “white-knuckling through dark desires and personal demons as the world shuts down and crumbles in the background.”
