Providence, RI project Ugly Ghost, led by multi-instrumentalist Jake Perreault, unveils a new laid-back piece. “Parking Lot” is a near-alt-r&b and cottony psychedelia-touched bedroom pop swing. The soothing, dreamy guitar chords and synth lines move smoothly to the ear-massaging rhythm section. Having a lovely lo-fi texture, the track is balanced by warm, unobtrusive singing.
