Alaska three-piece SunDog has shared a thrilling single.
On “Millennial Man,” in a minimalist manner, SunDog offers a very absorbing combination of indie and garage psych with echoes of the ‘70s and a sprinkle of ‘90s grunge. Abi Sparkman's free and breezy vocals lead this track, and the chorus is magnetizing. While the confident guitar sound stirs you up, the tight bass makes sorties, and the drums are tactful and driving. At 2:51 you can find the ardent yet laconic solo. And overall, “Millennial Man” is a gripping, unconventional rock song. SunDog has also released the album “Cabin Fever” this year, filled with equally creative finds, and the band is definitely one to watch.
