The music of “Sunday Afternoon” is a blend of serene nu-disco with nimble neo-psychedelia, and cumbia influences. One genre effortlessly, softly pours into another and back, while the vibe resembles a fanciful party on a lost island. The percussion and synths, like at 00:21, sound delectable and lush, and at 1:51 the guitar solo exudes bouncing fluorescent streams. Nemo Cee's vocals sound simply intriguing right away, reminiscent of the 2000s alt-dance hits. The most summery sound without any tension.
