Berlin-based 2-piece A Scene From JAWS present their remarkable new track.
“Volare” is dedicated to sailors-discoverers and sirens encompassing a charming but insidious essence. The basis and melody here are very perky and interestingly made, on groovy soil the band cultivates different influences - from Celtic folk to jangle pop. The guitars beautifully intertwine and turn into an engrossing tremolo. The angular rhythm section is the leader and living and breathing engine of the song. And the keyboards and vocals are drowned in the mix perfectly, thereby pushing the boundaries of the atmosphere in “Volare.” Vampire Weekend would sound like this if they were very much into Anatolian rock music, Kebnekajse and Echo & The Bunnymen at the same time. A Scene From JAWS finely demonstrate their potential from technical and harmonious perspectives.
