“Mellandagar” is the track that represents the new fifth album of Swedish musician Albin Johansson.
Kraut and progressive electronic straight from the ‘70s, it sounds like a Kraftwerk and Klaus Schulze session. The gripping analog synths and drum machines carve amazing sound sequences. Albin puts us in a spacesuit in the middle of indescribable landscapes of unknown planets, then teleports us to a surreal adventure inside a computer chip. And on “Mellandagar,” it’s interesting and important to keep track of every detail.
