King Commoner - Here It Comes Again

Read full review & listen on Grotesqualizer.

King Commoner, a Los Angeles Americana project, created an exquisite and dolorous hymn to either panic attacks hit by a blade of memory, or a tree of doom that exists only in your brain.

When the trembling line “And oh, here it comes again” begins, you are literally torn apart by mixed feelings, because King Commoner gets right into the most burning and intimate. The supporting narrative of the banjo grows together with the broadcasting piano, forming an iron cage for a wise and sad pigeon fluttering inside.
