Boar Worship - Connor

The track “Connor” of the duo Boar Worship, based in Colorado, is an interesting example of fierce sludge metal soaked overnight in an oil storage tank.

It sounds as if Iron Monkey recorded in Fenriz’s garage, or young Edmund Elias Merhige founded his own band. The drums, barely breaking through the veil of the guitar sound surrounded by barbed wire, can’t cope with anger, which is perfect. This gives the whole track an atmosphere of genuine euphoria of the revealed chaos, and you almost start feeling like the ceiling is getting lower and lower with every beat. One thing's for sure, Boar Worship are real sculptors of underground extreme sound and not like anybody else. The album “Balance of Terror” was released on September 23, and is also available on cassettes for $8. Do not miss the chance to get it, especially if you’re into collecting masterpieces.
