Texas-based musician Alain Paradis stunningly demonstrates a view of the new wave, post punk and electronic music culture of the ‘80s in the new tune “Oh You Pretty Girls” for his project Holy Wire.
The catchy synth loop and aspiring drum beat bring out the composition's appealing propulsive quality, reminiscent of the Western European nightclubs of the time. Then the instrumental gains more airy keyboard flows and layers, along with playful guitar pieces. While being so mechanically rhythmic, the track embodies a very touching, vivid experience through Alain’s text and melodies, and thanks to the deep singing tone, characteristic of the genre, it only captivates even more.
