Cincinnati, Ohio lo-fi rocker Sam Stansfield presents an atmospheric track from his first full-length album “Extreme Falcon.”
In a way, the piece “Company Car” can be defined as somewhat industrial folk. The noisy guitars seem to spread around the working enclosed factory, giving off a wiry, metallic flavor. But Sam's vocals sound lively, free and melodic, bringing the nostalgia of American cassette indie. Overall, there’s a very inviting feeling reminiscent of Car Seat Headrest from the early ‘10s. “Company Car” may just be the memorable moment of a fun night out.
