Heddy Edwards - black tunnel

Grotesqualizer

Chicago singer-songwriter Heddy Edwards introduces her pulsing, distinctive new single.

The '90s alt scene-inspired track “Black Tunnel” is a grand, ringing pop-rocker, where the sound ranges from pearly pop textures to a loud embrace of emotions. The copious synth shine, boomy drums, and tantalizing guitars are directed towards the refined and invigorating vocal thrust, in which Edwards has put poetic lyrics. She explains the story behind the song: “It’s about how my mental health caused me to push away and lose touch with people, only to see them again in dreams.”
