“Bloodymary” is a great merger of flowing indie rock and noiseless shoegaze. The cooling and spacious guitar play pleasantly weaves and straightens again. Together with the rhythmic motion, these melodies give the feeling of a bouncy rebranding of Galaxie 500. But the main thing is Isadora’s intimate, subtle, lullaby vocal manner that is just completely enthralling. The lyrical context can be interpreted as describing a process of settling down in eternal anxiety and disillusionments.
