Fast Color - Back In Town

Grotesqualizer

Los Angeles three-piece Fast Color have got an infectious new single.

“Back In Town” is garage power-pop with charming ‘70s flair and compelling psych glam rockness. The guitars sound with a sonorous crunch and intoxicating vibration, sometimes shifting to the surf side. In the dynamically unfolding places of the rhythm section, the tambourine adds even more convivial joy to the track. The overall sound of “Back In Town” is tuned in such a way as to give maximum seasoned feel, as if forming one whole corridor of sensations. And finally, Kelly Larkin's soft and low signature vocal is so inviting, like a pleasant, cooling shadow in the summer heat.
