Orleans, France four-piece collective Celtik'raic presents a playful cut off their new record “Tout En Craik.”
The band’s composing in “Medley Jigs,” like in all their works, is inspired by Сeltic traditional music and mythology. The dense tom drums come in first, over which the joyful and uplifting chirps of the flute and, for the moment, the restrained accordion soon appear. At 1:08, the fast harp streams color the sound of the track even more. Then “Medley Jigs” reaches a powerful turning point with brisk percussion, thundering accordion, and an intensified spirit of Irish dance music. By 2:19, the quaint, archaic charm of this delightful melody is revealed to the fullest, emphasized by progressive folk rock elements.
