Belgium indie pop/psych pop band Pavlove presents their new EP “Savages” via the thrilling single of the same name.
The song is based on the scandal with R&B star R. Kelly, charged with 18 federal counts (he’s currently in prison awaiting trial), and his alleged sex cult. Pavlove covers everything with a creepy tension, using the approach of sprawling neo-psychedelia. Shaken up melodies, guitars flying out of the dark, the sharp and sweaty tempo. Reina Rasti’s amazing voice plunges you into a floating intoxication, and in the second verse, it’s replaced by Fabian Rasti's brainwashing, playful vocals. “Savages” is a perfect example of an original delivery.
