UK artist Paperface, who records music in the lighthouse by the ocean, introduces us to the single from his second, recently released album “Love In The Time Of Florida.”
“Little Monsters” has an incredible sound and arrangement. Analog vibrations of the bass guitar, orchestra and magical theremin noir, dewy guitar overflows, baroque and indie pop touches, sincere vocal tone. In fact, all this sounds to the elegy of gigantic loneliness. Paperface tells about painful experiences, skillfully moving away from them right away and teleporting from all disappointments to his own universes and fantastic worlds. But he doesn’t notice how nevertheless these pieces of sadness got into his pocket and hid there. As if Mr. Spock finally succumbed to emotions, survived the earthly depression, and wrote this song of impeccable, subtle beauty.
