Daniel Bock is a producer of trippy electronica from Berlin.
Having spent time on the island of Spetses at the end of the summer and being inspired by it, he mixed some ideas with his vision of the cult planet Mars, reflecting it in the original album “Summer On Alba Mons.” The track “Liebesbriefe Aus Valles Marineris” (Love Letters From Valles Marineris) creates a picture of the environment and life of the colonies in the canyons of the red planet. This strange music is like found records or sketches of a researcher, deeply shocked by the power of discovered landscapes and more. A detached, unfamiliar ambient base, percussion-grain, electronic sound clone of either a flute or an accordion. Daniel Bock encrypted something incomprehensible at first glance, but when you listen to it in detail, it doesn’t look like anything else, like it’s a brand new object that constantly attracts your attention.
