The track “My Fire” from striking Seattle band New Bloom is a wild sawing off the shackles of the spirit.
A slam-punk and an energy-expression is extracted with a fierce tempo, buzzing guitars, battering drumming and a raging bawling. An interesting decision was made by combining the parts of hard-boiled hardcore punk, garage drive and measured grunge. “My Fire” is from
New Bloom's debut album “Singled Out,” which is one proud son of punk’s legacy, not discarding the old and proven skin, but armed with absolutely crushing means of defense and attack.
“Your dream is my nightmare.”
