The Hunter & The Potter - High Noon

Vancouver four-piece rock band The Hunter & The Potter has released a very sturdy album called “Innocent Guns.” The single “High Noon” perfectly demonstrates a balanced jubilation of the album.

Not completely going into retro heavy aesthetics, The Hunter & The Potter pushes through the forms of progressive rock, while seemingly sympathizing with the canon sound of alternative rock from the late '90s. The vocals work remarkably in all these directions at once. But the major appeal of “High Noon” is the infallible, pouncing guitar riff. Along with this, the atmosphere of the Wild West implemented in the lyrics and cover art gives the band their own topnotch tone. The track will charge not only the fans of young Dio, but also those who love the current stoner rock sound.
