Californian five-piece This Lonesome Paradise have unveiled the second haunting single from their future LP “Death Motels.” “Changelings” embodies Americana goth acid blues with a sepulchral, hazy Morrison/Nick Cave vibe. The rattling guitars, processional rhythms, and ghoulish keys immerse you in a worrying, but gradually hypnotizing, enveloping atmosphere. The singing perfectly channels the track’s oppressing tone, not allowing a single ray of sunshine to break through.
