Swiss four-piece Ticket To Nowhere dropped a new EP, check out its expressive title track. “Your Disappointment” is modern, groovy alt-prog metal with a touch of thall, math rock and metalcore. The chopped, mechanical guitars morph into dense riffage pressure, the rhythm section gives itself completely to the crushing force, and the overall sound is a perfect fusion of technique, futuristic spatiality, and dynamic. The near-operatic vocal manner contrasts with everything else, giving the track a more soaring, trancey and cosmic feel.
