Nashville-based artist Mel Denisse has released an enveloping new single. Inspired by the book “The Serpent And The Wings of Night,” the track “going nowhere” offers soaring alt-rock with beautiful sound hovering and a lovely touch of '90s shoegaze/dream pop. The sweeping, windy guitars and denting drums make a charming whirlpool, while Mel Denisse delivers her vocal in a lingering, sensual-hypnagogic form. This will appeal to fans of MBV, Difference Engine, Deftones, etc.
