Cal & The Rippers, a three-brother outfit out of Texas, debuted with this brooding single. “Bunny” is atmospheric country/folk stomp and holler with chill, detached guitar ripples and a confident rhythm train. The quiet and deep singing drifts on smooth melodic waves and at the same time touches on the destructive side of life, full of breakdowns, self-sabotage and depression.
