Florida four-piece Dark Hedges return with a heartening new single. Rich in winged post-punk guitars, moderately tempered alternative rock spreads throughout “Just Like Forever.” The volitional bass line seems to carry everything with itself, and the vocal is conveyed with an almost illuminated, declamatory manner. The band notes that the song “describes the illusion of limitation that we put upon ourselves and how it's funny we build our own walls.”
