Japanese composer/multi-instrumentalist/producer NANACO VIOLIN demonstrates the beautiful sound depth of her latest EP through this song. Opening with billowing keys, “Mourou” takes on a more whimsical, aquatic volume with a slight modern classical flair. NANACO VIOLIN's vocal slowly and softly floats forward, while the arrangement shifts to futuristic ambient dub and trip hop side a la The Orb or Basic Channel's projects. At the end, it feels like glistening spheres in abandoned alien cities, and the track unfolds as a special trip.
