Romanian guitar chief Mircea Bunea, supported by the collective Bega Blues Band, presents the killing latest jam.
“Urmascapaturma” is a sturdy, funky-psychy jazz-rock portion. At first, the twisted horns follow the nimble rhythms, while the guitar paint conjures up kraut vibes a la Embryo. At 2:06, everything turns into saxophone-driven, twilight Indo-jazz and returns back with a more abundant and lysergic jazz fusion/prog cream, reminiscent of Zappa, Hancock, and King Crimson. Filled with tasty keys and guitar slots, the track stays insanely groovy and spacey.
