Experience the ghostly opening of the new LP “Mirror Variations” by Swedish acoustic dronebient ambassadors Trio Ramberget and piano player/film composer Matti Bye.
As if inspired by strange folk rumors, this ten-minute post-rock/experimental classical-tinged soundscape, where Bela Tarr meets David Lynch in Silent Hill, seems to transport the listener to the bottom of gloomy pensiveness. “Tempera/Tempera Convex” is a suspicion-filled piece where every instrument pursues one goal: to obtain a viscous, decadent sonic concentrate. This track will definitely appeal to fans of modern minimalists like Kali Malone and Sarah Davachi, as well as dark ambient genius Lustmord, and even noir jazzy spiders, such as Bohren & Der Club Of Gore, Asunta, Kreng, etc.
