Mazey Haze - My Lilies

Grotesqualizer

Amsterdam artist Nadine Appeldoorn, alias Mazey Haze, unveils her bittersweet new take.

The downy, lingering vox, flexible and light bass moves, lullingly pensive electricity of the keys - “My Lilies” feels like a smeared, pre-twilight dark red pastel. Influenced by vintage European films and psychedelic pop music, it sounds well-crafted, breathable and dreamlike, as if it’s an addictive end credit song. This nostalgic tone elegantly fills out the track's entire space.
