Norwegian singer Kissimjau has launched a fast and thrilling new track.
Cultivating alternative pop on a UK garage/DnB strain, “Voodoo Doll” becomes a sensitive and nimble project. The oppressive extent of frustration crashes and splashes against the urban running beat again and again. Kissimjau’s vocal part seemingly has a special, apathetic softness, as if in a falling state, with the hit chorus shimmering, but behind it all there’s immense pain and dark, avenging determination.
